I was doing a search for some info on Ottertail County and ran across your posting. I was enjoyable to read because I had paddled several of those lakes as a kid! Thank you for posting this! Bruce http://www.WeedersDigest.com

I have personally seen and have been encouraged by what Kent has done with a computer. Some people do their very best work when using tools that augment their artistic abilities. This is the next level for you. You are not a starving artist. Now I expect GREATNESS because of your Mac. The only sin I could imagine you committing, is not idol worship, but that of not letting this tool become important in sharing with others who you have become through Christ. I see it with every photograph taken and every word spoken. Thank you Kent for worshiping God in this way, it enriches all our lives.

[...] Nearly two weeks ago I asked you to please pray for our niece Lacey. Thank you for doing so. The news from the Mayo is encouraging; the bone graft is ‘alive’ but the ends have not grown. What this means is that Lacey is flying home to Hawaii with an ultrasound machine that she will need to use twice a day to stimulate bone growth. She will also be confined to a wheelchair until she comes back for an exam and surgery in September. [...]

[...] Dan Kimball on balancing Maxwell & Nouwen. I’ve books by both on my desk; and like Dan Kimball I’m helped by guidance from both perspectives. Maxwell can be sort of a whoo-yaa kind of guy; he’s very attracted to power…but who isn’t? He’s got some good things to say about using power and influence appropriately…but nothing better than this.
[...] My own journey in Christian community has taken some surprising turns lately; I may even let Jesse talk me into accepting some form of sacramentalism. (Jesse, that was an invitation to explain your exposure of my inconsistency.)
